Don't they know it never looks good? It always looks like some fake-ass/pre-fab/kitsch nightmare because no one can afford to use nice materials anymore. You wanna know how to harmonize new with old? Look at European cities... they use glass and modern architecture, because it's a cheap and easy way of creating contrast between the old and the new; hence putting more emphasis on both the old and new buildings.
Man, what the hell is wrong with this city? We're in the 21st century, get with the times already...
