I took this shot of Calgary looking west from a plane, unfortunately the sun was in a bad spot.

Ils ont un centre ville, et le rest est vraiment plat! C'est bizzare.

Their downtown is getting impressive, but i'll still take Montreal over Calgary any day.

Calgary goes from single-family homes to skyscrapers over a few hundred meters. It's weird.
Montreal has an organic skyline that tappers off to Plateau-style medium-high density cityscape.

The SFH's in the core are all circa 1910 and on the wrong side of the train tracks (Beltline area), it is funny to see big condo tower developments in that area (since it is desirably close to downtown) with these tiny 1 or 2 bedroom character homes sandwiched in between - it is really like that opening scene from that "Up" movie

Est ce que quelqu'un sait c'est quoi l'immeuble(assez grand) à la droite de Bankers Hall? Cet immeuble semble avoir un bon 220 mètres!

C'est le "Eighth Avenue Place", un de mes édifices préfèrés à Calgary.

51 étages. Joli, mais ne passera pas à l'histoire QAM (quant à moi) :-)

Le Skyline de Calgary est quand même impressionnant! Mais bon Dieu que c'est ennuyant comme c-v. C'est tout simplement mort le soir et la fds.
